Default Helmets or No Helmets
Living in a state where there is no helmet law...

I "had to" my first year and it seemed as though no one else wore a helmet. I felt out of place.

Now I don't wear a helmet and it seems like a lot of people do?

About the only time I see more "no helmets" is maybe on a "bike night".

I was wondering how many of you wear a helmet and even don't have to?

I've gone with no helmet, a half helmet, a 3/4 helmet, and last week got a modular full face. I got to say I like the modular although on any given day...........

sometimes i wear my full face helment sometimes i dont , i listen to the voices in my head

I started with a full face to a half. I try and wear the half most of the time and always a helmet on the freeway. I go helmetless when I'm going a short local ride.

I know I should always wear a full face for protection, but really hate all helmets.

I hardly ever wore my 3/4 helmet until I went down after hitting a dog. As I was dragging across the pavement with no helmet on, all I was thinking was, I wish I had my helmet on. Now I wear it nearlly all the time.

started out a long time ago with a DOT Half, GF gave me a FF HD...another GF gave me a 3/4...both of them in the box in the basement (not the GF but the helmet). In the last few years, I only have my skid lid...that I wear when I have to...i live in CT (no helmet) but when I visit my bro in PA, I have to wear one as I cut through NY & NJ...my sig pix was taken at the HD Factory at York...on trips to no-helmet states, skid lid is fastened to sissy-bar...

If your face looks like a dogs *** anyway, and your IQ is sub 90, I wouldn't bother with a helmet.
