QUICK TOUR PAK HARNESS 70032-09 $63.96 4 POINT DOCKING HARDWARE 54205-09 $119.96 KIT, DOCKING POINT COVERS 48035-09 (2) $39.92 TOUR PAK RACK 53276-09A $143.96 CHROME STRUT COVER (L) 47502-09 $58.00 CHROME STRUT COVER (R) 47504-09 $58.00
You can find brand new strut covers on ebay for around $20 a set. The Docking point covers are optional and you can p/u an in-fairing antenna for your radio. I wouldn't recomment the detachable tour-pak harness kit, it was useless unless you plan to run antennas from your lower fender. I ordered all the deutsch connectors from drag specialties for $54. UltraKlassic (member) provided a very good write up with pictures on how to do this. Good luck.
In my case it was much cheaper to purchase an ultra ($18,750) and strip it down. Found the fender on ebay for $100 plus shipping, sold my take off fender for $200. Found the rear fender with the turn signal bar and the relocated license plate bracket brand new for $200. I ordered the fascia from chicago harley for $79 (painted) and applied it with 3M double faced tape. Traded the floorboards for the flhx pegs with a member from the forum and ordered the detachable tour pak rack, docking kit and detachable harness (junk) for $270 from chicago harley. The 4" windshield was from a previous bike. All this started from just wanting to detach the tour pak and although it does have the ultra wanna be street glide look, I'm happy with it. The handling is much better w/o that 35 lbs. box on the back. If I take a trip or ride a passenger, I can convert it back in 5 minutes.
that is exactly what I want to do with my new ultra when I finally get it......best of both worlds.....how is it with the lighted tour pak though?...is there a quick snap connector for the lights?
