I'm looking for advice on purchacing an EFI tuner wether it be a V&H fuel pak, powercommander or a HD super tuner? I will be putting it on an 07 Streetglide. Hoping someone can help me out with a decision!
I have a Power Commander III and am very happy with it. I have installed different cams and had it dyno tuned. Bike runs great. I originally went with the V&H fuel pak and was not happy with it. Unless V&H has changed their tech support, if you do anything other than paying the Harley tax, you will need a new fuel management system.
It depends on what you plan to change on the bike, what your objective is and what you are willing to spend.
Many folks here are very happy with Jamie @ Fuelmoto's advice.
IF, and that's a BIG IF, you intend to dyno the bike for best rideability and power, the issue becomes what the dyno person you will be using prefers. Talk to them, use what they work best with.
I went to both our HD dealers and they actually brought up the Dyno specs on the PCV, SERT, and V&H on recent bikes that had come in. The SERT was boosting the power regularly above the other two so I went with the SERT. After the Dyno, my little scoot runs awesome! Haven't heard great things about the V&H but I have a friend with a RK and the PCV - he's pretty happy with that as well.
V&H fuel pak management system you set it first time. Then it adjust as you ride no dyno to do. You can do powercommander but they have been burning up letting people down on the side of the road. Plus you needed to dyno them. You can make adjuctments yourself. SE Racing tuner from harley is made for one bike and needed dyno everytime you change pipes or different air filter type. I would go with V&H fuel pak management system it's not a big deal with that type system would handle will that little bit of gas. The do make one that is adjustable with a button on the handlebars.

I'll disagree with that all day long...
I started with the Fuel Pak and even after a few calls to V&H support, couldn't get it running right. It ran fine, but not right. Went with the PCV from FuelMoto - bike has never ran better and I have zero intentions of putting it on a Dyno machine.
