This senseless slaughter has to stop. There is a law on the books, unintentional manslaughter. The short explanation is when you didn't set out to kill someone but you were so careless and stupid that you did anyway, you should have been able to not do what you did, then you are guilty of unintentional manslaughter and there can be lengthy jail time involved. I would ask someone from the area to post up the phone number of the local law enforcement, state hwy patrol and Sheriff so we can all contact them and with one voice calmly, and politely, but be adamant that they pursue charges ( not just a traffic citation ) against this "driver" Noname
so sad and senseless when somebody loses a life because another person is an idiot...
one minute your sitting on yer scoot enjoying the morning sunshine and the next minute your gone because he wanted to do paperwork while driving..........azzhole!
All of this over driver inattention... Senseless loss of life is more like it.
This occured less than 10 miles from my home... the wife and I are dazed and sickened by this horrific chain of events! That group was heading to Cave Creek, a favorite spot we like to frequent. Those trips will no longer be the same after today. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families whose lives have been turned upside down. To the driver: May the lord have mercy on his soul....
We have not been to Cave Creek yet, it was on a long list of places to visit in our new home in Arizona. I believe this weekend we will head down and make a stop for a moment of prayer for the victims and their families.

Not the reason I wanted to visit for.......ever.
Yup, you will cross that intersection on your way to Cave Creek. I'm sure you will be coming across from Wickenburg. It's only a mile and a half east of the I-17...27th Ave intersection. I believe I will be making a special trip Saturday to pay my respects... Today is too soon for me to go.
No one on this level will or can. Lost the love of my life less then 3 weeks ago and I haven't a clue why. First time I've been able to even talk about it really...still hoping it's just a bad dream.
So sorry for the families and friends left behind...in them is where the pain is.
So sorry to hear of your loss brotha. All you can do is your best to live day to day till you can accept it into your life. It never goes away, you just learn to deal and manage with the loss. I can't say I've been there by loosing a mate... just my .02...
