Including all of the Big Dog, Iron Horse type bikes, you're probably right.

I would not hesitate to buy one. I once bought a Buick from a lady whose husband had died and she parked his Buick in their barn and let it sit there for 9 years. The car started within 5 minutes and I drove it for 3 years before some "East Siders" stole it.

My 2004 had 3700 miles on it when I bought it. Seller rode it for 2 years and parked it until 2009 when i got it. Tires looked good although I will replace them at the end of this year, figure I will have 10,000 on the tires myself. The seller changed out the battery and plugs and all fluid when he sold it to me and it has been a fine running beast since.

Local HD dealer knew the seller and bike and printed out the service history for me. Every year 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 all fluids were changed and the bike odometer mileage was the same every year
