The arguement is kind of humorous. We all like what we like. As soon as "Handling" or "Performance" or anything else competitive comes up someguys think their newly bought bike is so far ahead of everything else in the harley line-up. With the exception of the V-Rod I bet if you lined up all the current models from a Sporty to a Dresser and ran them down a quarter mile there probably wouldn't be 6 feet of difference between the first and last bike.
it' more or less why i ride alone except for a couple of good buddies. I don't have time for someone running down my bike or someone else's. tired of that bullsh*t
Hey Arv, I'm a little surprised with your question. You've been around long enough to know there are knuckleheads on both sides of the pond, and being stupid knows no bounds. The old saying, "Live, and let live" certainly applies doesn't it. Grandpa used to say, "there's no accountin' for bad taste, and this really tastes bad!" In other words, some folks just don't know when to keep their thoughts to themselves. There are NO bad bikes, only bad bikers! I like mine better than yours, why? Because it's mine. Bwahahahaha. Keep on riding, you're going to meet all kinds out there, and they ain't all good..... But the other side of the coin is, they ain't all bad either. Ride safe.
Each to their own or in other words there is no such thing as “best” model. There are too many different riders, i.e. large or small, short or tall, young or older, solo or two up, short or long distance riders, loners or group riders, etc.
