Bought my first Harley - 2005 Sportster - in 2010 when I was 29. Traded it in for my Fat Bob just after I turned 30. Price is a big issue in Australia - from what I'm told we pay a lot more in Australia than in the US for hogs.

When I was 16 my uncle got a brand new electra glide. He gave me his super glide that he had taught me to ride on. Sadly it has been dead for 11 years(A tree fell on it during a hurricane.) My 20's? No, but the best two years of my teenage years? That's a yes. I wouldn't be caught dead on a crotch rocket.

I barely made it. I'll be 30 in June but I just bought my first bike and my first Harley. I bought a 2009 Sportster 883 Custom with around 2,000 miles on it. It seemed like a great early 30th birthday present.
As of right now it's completely stock but we'll see what happens in the next year or so. Here's she is.

First Harley was an 07 1200C Sportster when I was 22, got rid of that 2 years later and bought a wrecked 06 Street Bob that we put back together. Still have it and probably won't ever get rid of it since it has a salvage title.

In 1978 when I was 18 I was stationed at MCAS El Toro and bought a beat up Sportster for $500 from a guy who had orders for Okinawa. I rode that thing all over Southern California.
