The dealer said there isn't but I will call another. I've had the bike for 18 months. First I have to be sure it's the battery. Second, 3 dealers closed in this area in the last few months including the two I dealt with so I have to make a trip to the next dealer.

Just bought a battery for my springer last night called a Thunder Start.It is a gel mat 350 cca with a two year warranty better than Harley all around.Glad batteries are on back order from Harley,just one less thing I will be buying from them in the future.

If you need a new battery I would go Harley they have a good product with there batteries

My sons 07 Wide Glide started having low battery problems at about 16 months old. Dealer suggested using a maintainer. At 26 months it was totally gone. Dealer replaced it under warranty, with a little complaining. If your dealer says it's not under warranty at 18 months, he's lying.

Default battery
I have had mine on a battery tender every winter for the past five years . I got my deluxe in September 04 this will be my sixth year with the factory Harley battery.

I went to Maroneys in Newburgh & they gave me the same story. After 1 year it's pro rated & not worth the hassle so I picked up a new HD for 116.00. Fired right up. Unfortunately the dealer I bought the bike from shut down last month.

Wal Mart - $75 and they are very good batteries. Also they will load test for free in the first twelve months at any service dept. in the US.

Like the idea of not testing, think the testing deep cycles the battery, not good unless it's a deep cycle battery.

most go at least 4-6 yrs on a tender.....
