Frustrated Fatboy
I've going into the second season with the Fatboy (purchased new in August 08). Grew up on other bikes but had to have and wanted a harley, now that the kids are gone...well they left the house anyway. After about 4,000 miles in 2009 the bike starts to leak oil and the dealer takes care of it under warranty, no questions, sorry about the problem. They had to order parts and it took about 10 days...not a big deal. They replaced a shock and portions of the oil return line. This year after a few days into the season and 10,110 miles, the bikes starts leaking again at the same place (shock area), plus a new location up around the oil filter/voltage regulator area. I'm sure it's not the oil filter, which is a little scary. It will all be under warranty but the dependability is just a little frustrating. New bike, treat is nice, no burnouts, maintenance per the specs and it won't hold oil.
