SE Night Stick question
I recently purchased a SE nightstick for my '10 SG. I am not happy with the sound or should i say lack of sound. Has anyone tried using Supertrapp's tune kit part #80881-10 with the open end cap?

I have the cap on mine. It made it a bit louder, but no matter what the CAT will muffle the sound some. Take the pipe off and start the bike, you will hear it's not much louder. The cap is still better than stock so remember the open cap = 6 discs. You also need a security wrench to get one of the bolts out.( the one with the pin in the middle) I got mine at autozone.

Anybody have a part number for the open endcap? I really dont want to flip 70 ucks for the tune kit when all I need is the cap.

I would suggest the problem is two fold. First the cat does indeed muffle the tone, but the cams used in the stock 2010 twin cams are pretty anemic as well thus the lack of tone or rhythm "usually" associated with Harley big twins.
