I rode from my house in SW Georgia to Jacksonville in the thick of lovebug season one year... stopped to clean headlights and windshield three times and it's only 1.5 hours!! The windshield was literally blacked out with them all three times, had to trash my jeans there was so many...

i've had them so bad some night i have to pull over and clean the helmet (i wear a modular FF at night). me and the neighbor went for a ride that required us to make 4 cleaning stops. was an excellent ride though. just come home and put clothes straight in the wash and scrub leathers gently with a brush.

got hit in the head by a bat (flying rodent kind) one night - FF helmet, just rocked my head back... turned aroudn to see if i could find it, but it wasnt in the road so either landed in the grass or it glanced off

Ken, I think because of the cold they're late this year here in Central and North Florida. I hope they don't come out the last weekend of April/first weekend of May. Got a trip to Pensacola to visit the Naval Air Museum and see some friends laid on.
