With any of those online only places like Demon it's a crap shoot on stuff . There's a couple like them but they do head the list on know what your buying before you spend . They will advertise name brand stuff and while what you get may look the ad it's cheap **** , caught them twice selling Custom Chrome items complete with boxed pictures and part numbers , what I got was cheesy knock off stuff in plain plastic wrappers with a bad photocopy of the instructions and they dodged the emails & phone calls too .
This is Demons in a nutshell. If you know your chit, you can get the same stuff that everybody else sells... quite a bit cheaper than other places. Last year I bought chrome fork legs for my bike. They sold the same Mid-USA brand that everybody else is selling. Demons $390 J&P $669 Buy through Ebay and if they screw up you get your money back...no brainer for me.

The price of the " billet" light should have been a clue. Too much cheap Chinese crap on the market these days. If you are going to manufacture in China, you really need to stay on top of quality control. The Chinese are new Capitalist and have no morals, in general, they're greedy little basturds.
I went to the website. This is the same headlight i bought same description but mine has a visor on it. It was also 99$. I should have known by the price but i figured i would give them a try. Heres the link. http://www.demonscycle.com/Lights-an...-p7237475.html It seems they dont sell the exact light as mine but this is it without the visor. heres a picture of the headlight

I have the headlight in the link...it is OK for the price. It is metal with a glass lense...the chrome is holding up...the only thing that sucked about it is the bulb...some weird Chinese bulb that no one carries a replacement for...had to cut the plug off and put a car bulb in it.

So what is plastic? Usually you need to buy a mount separately. I have a Cobra II from Eastern Performance. Looks the same & works great. I've had it for 2 years & for what I paid for it I got a bargain & a decent headlamp. And I don't know what you expected for $68. Before I bought the Cobra I read a lot of positive reviews here. For 100 bucks I thought it would be crap but it's fine.
Good info on DC but gotta give props to EasternPerformance for a transaction I had with them. They were selling out their inventory of KlockWerks pipes before Xmas and had them marked down. I ordered a set and got an email that the product had shipped but came to find out that they were out of the ones I ordered.
After talking on the phone with EasternPerformance they agreed to find the pipes I ordered and at the marked down price they promised me. Sure enough I have the pipes at the sale price and am one happy camper.
Was nice to deal with someone over the phone who seemed to actually care about doing things right.
