So Saturday, a couple of friends and I ride our bikes up to the mountains to go camping. It was a great ride and we all had alot of fun. We leave early Sunday Morning to go eat breakfast and ride home.
On our way down the mountain I laid my bike down! I got scraped up and sore, but nothing serious. My bike on the other hand took the brunt of the fall and is pretty jacked. I CAN NOT put into words how angry I am. The fall was my fault, too hot into a downhill corner, and hit a slick spot.
I'm happy I'm ok, but can't stop thinking about my new Train. Service dept. is closed on Sundays and Mondays, so I don't know the extent of the damage yet. At this point I dont even care what it is. I just want it fixed.
Ok so let me get this straight....you crash...get off with no real broken bone injuries and you are upset.
Dude: Harley will build you 10,000 bikes......go outside...look up and say "Thank You God for not having me sit here typing with a broken arm & leg or worse". Trust me...you are one fortunate guy.
Understand your frustration but consider yourself VERY LUCKY! My sister-in-law took a tumble last fall and is now disabled for life and most likely will never ride again due to broken wrists on both hands. I took a rock chip in my fairing and fumed about it for hours and then realized I was burning brain cells on something NOT IMPORTANT!
Learn from your experience, fix the scooter, ride again, and be happy to do so!
