I use the TomTom Rider2. The touch screen works pretty well with gloved hands.

I just use the 99 dollar car Tom Tom from Wal Mart with a 10 dollar ebay motorcycle mount. Never had an issue and it goes everywhere I go. I have never gotten it wet, but then again, if its raining I wait out the rain rather than ride threw it. I'm sure the motorcycle unit better, but its alot more cash. For being on the cheap and putting it right back in the car when I'm done, its worked out pretty well.

And the quest is cheap. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles but it does everything that I need and its waterproof. If you look around on the net you can probably find one for less than $100.

Zumo 550, but I feel sure any of the Zumo's will work well for you.

I agree with the cheap Tom Tom, & if the weather turns on me, I throw a zip lock baggie over it.
