Keeping it in perspective
Saturday, april 24th my friend and i had to cut our ride short for the second day in a row due to inclement weather. We stopped a c-store for gas and information about the town. We felt we had been cheated, even though we were on the back end of an eleven day tour. I asked the clerk what town we were in, her reply was"vinita oklahoma, it must be incredible to get on your bike and not even know where the hell you are." i do feel blessed.

Similar story: Went for a short ride to "clear my head". 4 hours later realized I was "lost". Stopped in c-store for a drink and to buy a map as I didn't want to return home on the same route. Clerk asked if I was lost. Nope I said, just not sure where I'm at. Got back on bike and tucked map in jacket. Continued my lost way for another 5 hrs getting back home! Blessed here also! Smiled the entire trip!

At least you have riding weather in Ok., it's snowing here in northern NY this morning with forcasts of 6-12 inches in elevations of 1000' or more. BUMMER!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait til I retire and get out of this god forsaken place!
