Default How about this helmet?

I have a couple of helmets but I just seem to be still looking for the perfect one. I love my 3/4 but in a few months I'm gonna want a full face back again. My flip up is cool but very noisy and very heavy which causes a bunch of neck strain.

Saw this one and thought it might be a good match. The colors work well with the bike too (yes, I am a girl and it does have to match). It's a Shoei X-11 Kagayama Helmet.....

thats a nice looking helmet, I'm still looking for "the one" also...I've never tried on a Shoei, the price always scared me away and I figured if I liked it then I'd want one..

may have to change my thinking though, my flip face gives me a headache after a while.

I think with Shoei you can bet its a quality helmet. The only thing that made me look at other brands is the price, but if it fits good and you like the features, and yes the look is important, I say go for it.

that's a sharp helmet!
It does look like it is a very good match for your bike!
Almost made for it I would say!
I have owned a couple of Shoei's, and they are really nice helmets!

Close to a match. Blues are a little light, but should not matter.

I wear a SHOEI in white and I love it. I do not use the face shield until it gets cold out though.

Good choice !

Has your wife commented on the weight or neck stress with it??? It's pretty but I'm looking for light and comfy.

Having owned 3 Shoeis I can tell you they are a good helmet. I have also had Nolans, Bieffes, and HJC. Did not like any of them. But... I got a big melon to cover.

And as for the cost... Cheaper than a new skull. At least that is how I look at it. That looks like the Kayagama TC-2 in the X-Eleven Series. They are supposed to be great helmets.

I personally like:

the Zemke 2 TC-5 in the RF-1000.

the diabolic 2 TC-5 in the RF-1000

the joust tc-5 in the rf-1000

And in the X-Eleven series I like the Vermeulen 2 TC-5. Kinda pricey at a price tag of $692.99 MSRP.

Even with my theory of it being cheaper than a new skull... Hard to spend that much on something that needs to be replaced in 5 years.

And I am a guy and I want my helmet to match too... Just been trying to find something that was not too Ricer-ish.

I hear good thing about Arai as well... never owned one myself. They are also on the pricey side.
