Default Bike Show???

On the road and stopped by a Harley shop in Scott LA (Cajun Harley-Davidson) today. Great bunch of folks there.

They were having a 31st Anniversary deal with food and music and such.

One of the things they had going was a Bike "Show".

Now I have to admit that I don't do rally's or the like much anymore and haven't been to a bike show in several years. It was really disappointing to me that all the bikes in the "Show" were nothing more than stock bikes with a few chrome bolt on's that anyone can buy in a dealership or out of a catalog and in a couple of cases a fancy paint job.

No creativity at all. I guess the way the winner must be decided is by which one has the fewest fingerprints on the chrome or something along those lines.

Are all the shows outside of the professional level that way nowadays?

Just curious.

the show an shine the local bar puts on in the summer isnt thats for sure, the majority of winners are bikes that have done some radical customizing or spent some serious time restoring for a small town theres alot of us that actully get our fingers dirty when it comes to "custom" bikes
