Do you know that little "click" sound you get when you first squeeze the front brake? All bikes have it... the new ones on the floor or old ones in your garage.
Well a long time ago I changed out handgrips. After that I noticed that little click never returned. Does anyone know what causes that little click? I'm thinking that maybe I tightened something down too much or I lost a small piece. The brake still works fine from I can tell but it is just one of those little things that will drive me absolutely nuts until I get to the bottom of it.
If you are talking about the click as you start to apply the brake , Then again as you release
it . I would make sure the brake lights work from the front brakes .
That I believe that is the brake Light switch .
And logic would dictate that you may want to check your brake light when you pull your brake lever as you may have damaged your brake light switch when changing your grips if you haven't heard it since.

Whiff
Yepp... I just found out it is the switch, but it still works. I suppose just to keep an eye on it.
