Question Brake Light Switch

Do I have too Remove the throttle cabels ,, too change the front brake Light Switch . ?

I don't think so. I did it because you are there anyway and it just seemed easier then fighting the cables pulling on the grip. I had to change out my front brake light switch three or four years ago. I know that instead of running all that wire outside of the harness[there was no way I was going to try to pull that wire through the harness]--I opted to cut it off near to the new switch, solder and heat shrink. I was afraid that I had cut the wires too short for a moment. I then rolled the original harness cover back over the wires and reassembled grip.

no if i recal coreectly the switch is a micro switch in the switch housing that activates when the lever is moved you should be able to work with it without havign to take off the throttel cables

thanks Guys , Just checkin I've got a bad switch and gotta put a new one in ,
it's just a Hassel doin the the Throttle Cables and Lookin Fur Da Barrel ends on the Floor .
