Default Bugs on pipes
I'm finding the dead bug bits on the exhaust chrome heat shields a bugger (did I say that) to get off. I didn't have this problem on shovel-head, but it didn't have heat shields on the pipes. Maybe the little buggers ( yes I did it again) just cooked away to nothing and left a minor grease spot. I've tried chrome cleaner, and polish but it can scratch the finish. Anyone got a good method to get them off.

Are they the same type of bugs that are on your face and shirt.

I use the S100 Polishing soap, it comes with it's own sponge and it works very well on all your chrome.

Put bug spray on your pipes. Make sure it has DEET. Re-apply every 4 hours.

Had them on mine and I soak a rag with warm soapy water, put the rag on the bugs for a while to loosen/moisten them, and then wipe away.

If ya forget to do that, you can always use 0000 steel woll and WD-40. I alway do.
