before i get flamed i did use the search. but what i'm trying to find out is if anyone took their bike to hawaii / honolulu.
I also filled out one of them quote request to get an idea but they never got back to me.
seems to me that bikes are slightly cheaper from the lower 48 so i'm thinking of broadening my options for another bike.
I'd like to know how you did it like did they pick it up? did they crate it? And from where and the cost.
any info will help me out.
also if anyone shipped from California would be great. thats where i probly want to get one from and ship it from there cause i know it will be slightly cheaper.
The Navy shipped mine here with my household goods, but I also used Pasha (the link above) to ship my car here. Cost me $1100 to ship from LA to Honolulu. They were very helpful and took god care of the car. I would check out the link and give them a call. My wife set up the car shipment but she called them to do it.
I had to drop the car off in LA and then picked it up here a week later. Are you on island looking to buy from the mainland?
Airlines will ship too. But its kinda a pain. Drain all fluids. Really scrub the gas tank clean so no fumes. But its usually the fastest way and costly.
