I installed my pipes and it was not too bad, at all. Just take your time so you don't scrach anything. If i did pipes again I could get them done alot faster. IMO it's not worth paying someone to install them.

It really depends on your wrenching skill level.

i think if you have opposable thumbs you can probably handle this - but as posted above, once you do it once you'll figure out how to save some time if you do it again. fwiw - take a look at the space between your block and the exhaust flanges on current pipes just for a reference when you put the new pipes on ... not so much because you need to get the same space, but just so you know you don't have to tighten them all the way down (keep in mind that the torque for those nuts isn't much at all - i'd suggest using one hand to tighten them then two hands to give it just a slight turn from there .. and check them after a few heat/cool cycles to keep them snugged up)

Thanks again everybody! Just got the pipes this week. So hopefully get them on this weekend. We are in the process of moving to. So this doesn't give me much time to work on it. But as soon as its done, I will put up pics. Fuzz

you'll be fine - should be maybe ~2 hours if you take your time, just be sure to wipe them down after you install and before you fire it up, and check the torque on all the fasteners a few times after you've taken some trips. It sure does make a difference over stock...had a huge smile when it was all done and I hit start

Default O2 sensors

Are the O2 sensors as easy as the rest of the pipe install sounds ? Been reading and seems that all you have to do is pull the sensors off the stock pipe and just plug them in the new...is it really that easy ?

5 minutes & follow directions. Almost as easy as starting your bike.

Unscrewing & screwing them back in would be the right way
