"It is not how many times you get knocked down. But how many times you get back up"
Your positive attitude leeds me to believe you will survive this and end up a stronger person because of it. Makes some of our minor problems seem real minor.
Man she really is messed up! Has anyone started stripping it down yet? I know it is soon, but I am curious if that frame isn't fubared beyond a rebuild. Hang in there, broken bones are a biatch. I had a tractor roll over on me about 2 years ago, broke some bones under my pelvis. That sucks man. Maybe you will get a good insurance settlement and get you another bike, and you can rebuild that one real slow! Take your time, and be careful whatever you do.

my friend losing it is perfectly fine, glad your on the mend.
once you have had a chance to go over her a bit and see what you need. looks liek i am gonna have a few spare parts and left overs from my build of " 'Rissa" so whatever ui have left consider it yours for the having. im to poor/broke to be able to help with any of the green stuff that goes in your wallet, but given the amount of good karma i have gotten from HDF members with my situation i would love to be able to pay at least a little bit forward
^^^ Pay attention people!!! That right there is what the brotherhood of motorcycling is supposed to be ALL about. You won't see this kind of gesture from a COMPLETE stranger hardly anywhere else, if at all.
To the OP........... Glad to hear you are gonna be alright. If that old scoot can't be fixed, you will find another to take its place and resume garnering cherished memories of you time spent in life while on 2 wheels!
