Only use chrome polish for the chrome and Z wax for the paint. I dont mind
the 6 hrs. it takes.

Nice, the benefits of an active forum. I ask a question and get a lot of answers very quickly. It looks like between my remaining stores of Turtle Wax chrome polish, my Harley Gloss, and my lemon pledge I still have around for my dusting my wood furniture, I'll be in good shape. Thanks all.

Windex strips wax and polish, leaving chrome/painted finishes unprotected. No thanks.

I use the clear windex without ammonia especially on polished aluminum.The blue works good but would't use it on polished aluminum.

works on plastic, chrome, paint, any surface. Nice and shinny!

i use a product from costco, its a window cleaner that foams works great it has no alcohal,so it dosen=t harm surface

Thumbs up for Plexus

I have to give my vote to Plexus as well, that stuff is great on anything, I put it on everything from Chrome to Carbon Fiber and always get good results !!

I think Windex contains some Ammonia in it. I don't think it would be a good idea long term to use Windex.

My bike has a lot of chrome and I love those comments like, "you bike looks great but I would hate to polish all that chrome." My reply, I have never polished my chrome. Chrome is naturally shiny. It just needs to be clean.
