Default Chrome

I used to spend way too much time cleaning Chrome. I used Turtle Wax Chrome Polish which worked fine but was a two step process. Wax on, wax off. This time around on my new bike, I just use Windex. Or water first if muddy, then Windex. Way less time invested, very good results. My question has to do with the fact that there is often a small amount of overspray and a little Windex can get on painted surfaces. Will that cause any issues with the painted surfaces?

I don't think so, but have only done it a few times over the last month. I really need to give it a "real" bath this week. Windex is quick and easy for tin and pipes though.

I use Turtle Wax Express Shine.. I use it on everything and it works great. Very easy also... but Windex is good for everything, even bruised elbows...

I usually spray the grit off & then use windex on everything but the windshield.

Yep, exactly what he said. Windex too, and No, it won't hurt the paint. Otherwise mine would be gone.

I don't know why, but I thought the Pledge was just for paint. Never considered it for chrome. Hmmmm...
