Glad your going to be OK. Sounds like you got lucky. It never seems to amaze me how brave people in cages are when it comes to riding around a bike.

Lesson learned, I tried defensive driving and it didn't save me. Now I'm getting offensive.

I call it "Aggressive Defensive" driving! I used to travel to northern VA thru DC and this works well. The bike I was riding then had straight pipes which definitely helped because every bridge I went under I gassed the hell out of it letting all cars around me know I was there.Only ride the fast lane to avoid on-ramps traffic and pass when oppportunity presents itself which will keep people off your ***.

Glad to hear you are ok but if you hit the truck in front of you after he slammed on the brakes, haven't you already tried driving agressively?
