The lesson learned should be not to follow too close so that you can stop without hitting the vehicle in front of you.

There seem to be so many more a$$holes on the road than there used to be. And it seems like it's more outright malice than inattention. Can't seem to go anywhere without at least one trying to get you. Glad you weren't hurt more than you were.

I got over enough for the front tire to clear the truck but the handlebars and the right side of my body hit hard. I landed close enough to the bike that the rear wheel was spinning against my leg and then the engine cut off and I thought "well that's pretty cool, did HD build in an automatic engine cut off?" The weirdest things go through your head y'know?
