Ditto on the Pledge. Fast and easy and knocks bugs off better than anything I've ever used. All I use use is Pledge with a micro fiber towel.

I use simple green car wash soap. Microfiber towels and Pledge. Been thinking about getting the H-D bucket.

Bucket of clean water - 2 microfiber towels (1 for wet and 1 to dry) - SOS pad for white walls. Done in a jiffy (except when cleaning rims/whitewalls).

I'll refrain from giving you advice on washing your tins as I have Denim paint on my H-D and it is a whole different method (much easier I think) of washing it.

I will say that I love Turtle Wax Chrome polish. I had been using it for years on my cars and now on my bike and it never disappoints. I can buff with it to get out boot burns and such and not worry about swirling or dulling of any kind on my chrome. It always comes out great!

One other thing that I would highly recommend to anyone is S100 Corrosion Protectant. It is not a "cleaning" product per say but it is used to prevent rust from starting up. It sprays on or goes on with a cloth and then you can buff it to a shine. I seldom come across products that deliver completely on what they promise but this is one that I feel truly does. I own a springer which anyone who has had one for any length of time will tell you that the springs on the front end are susceptible to rust very quickly. Also, if you have chrome hardware then you know that they tend to rust up in the center where the chrome gets tiny nicks from the tools used on them. This stiff stops all that perfectly. I don't ever have to worry about getting caught in a rain or whatever and then not being able to detail my bike right away. It is also great for preserving plastics such as the rubber mounting points on windshields and such from dry rot. Get some! You won't be disappointed.
