All Dynas from '91 to '10 have problems with high speed cornering because of the two-point rubber mount system which allows the powertrain to get out of alignment with the rear wheel. There are other frame braces besides True Track.
If the rubber mount Sporties have two-pint rubber mounts, they would probably have the same thing happening.

I would say something is out of alignment then. I had to stay on my Dynas alignment as it would deteriorate gradually, but I never had a problem as long as I kept up with the alignment. We got twisties in Vermont and I don't punk out on them and never had any trouble except maybe having to replace the rear muffler and a few pegs every year. True track and others may help stabilize a bike, but IMHO it is not necessary with a well aligned bike. Many just don't know how to do it and the manual goes overboard. Oh, amd mine was also lowered 1 inch. Rock solid motorcycle.
