The other day I'm driving along on the highway in the family Windstar and I see a cage tail-gaiting a biker in the center lane. I eventually made a lane change in between them with my van and then slowed down. The cage got frustrated and went into the left lane and took off ahead of us.
When I see a bike on the road and I'm in a cage, I'm always looking out for the bikers on the road with respect to how the other cagers are driving around them. Does anyone else feel this need while driving in a cage?
I haven't seen the need yet to provide cover for someone but when I see a rider I do tend to be extra alert and ensure I give plenty of space and set an example for others to follow when tailing behind a rider.
I do as well. ................Sometimes I have to wonder why Cage drivers say they can't see motorcycles. I see them every where, every time I ride or drive!
Always!! We all know what it feels like out there. Virginia is the tailgating capital of the world IMO. We are all brothers and sisters and we need to take care of each other.

maybe its like certain colors of cars, didn't notice very many of them till U buy one. MC riders always see the other riders easier and better.
like with Semi's, most cagers give them plenty of room,, not only because they see them better,, they don't want their A$$ ran over by one...
listen to them bit(h if a big rig is tailgating them while there in their cage. Oh thats different in there mind.
And yes If the chance presents itself to help a fellow rider from some dopey cager, I'll do it.
When ever I can. Heck I got a sticker from the Illinois state police on my back window that says Start Seeing Motorcycles. One is also on all my kids cars and the wife's van.
