Default Old Men Can Learn New Tricks!

Been riding since 1966 - finally got something right.

After a 13 hour day (volunteer at a free Clinic) wrenching on single moms cages (AKA cars from Hell), I had the bright idea to pop the corks on the holes when I hit the barn. Let him drain overnight - enjoyed a Dos Equis as a self reward - and finished him up this morning. No waiting on Red Line to slowly come out of the holes!

How stupid to not have thought of that years ago! Even had time (don't have to be in to "work" until 10:00 hours to get a title to a cage to turn around) to toss the mechanic clothes into the washer and dryer, so good to go for the Saturday Clinic.

If an old guy can have a new idea, anyone can! Of course, all y'all might have sorted this out years back.

Been riding since '68 so know the satisfaction (or surprise) of discovering something new...like the other day I noticed that I could disengage the cruise on my cage with a button I hadn't noticed before... so no more dipping the clutch to slow behind cruisers in the fast lane...

Now that's some funny chit!

I know old dogs can learn new tricks, my OL is still teaching me how to jump though hoops everyday.

I found the drain plug on the bottom of the motor. Now I no longer have to hang the bike upside down to change oil.

The problem with age is you have to remember in the morning what you never finished the night before. That thing won't run long with the corks popped and you riding down the road!

Yea, but you don't have to worry about dropping the Drain Plugs in the Oil Pan if you hang the bike upside down . . .

That was my thought, too.
