Default Heli Coil Tang

Im re-threading my head for a new crankcase breather bolt to hold on my Big Sucker A/C the instructions tell you to break off the tang after you get the Heli coil in place.Just where does the "tang about a 1/8 inch piece of coil" go after its off. Will it interfere with anything mechanical in the head????
Paranoid at this time.

Make sure it does not fall into the head.

Do this.

The tang is already scored so it comes off easily.

If the hole is too small for needle nose, I use a pick similar to a dental pick. Get behind the tang with the pick and pull it toward you. Should snap right off.

It also helps to have a small but strong magnet.

I have really small needle nose pliers, Good Idea with magnet, But the coils are stainless steel!
