I worried too with the same question. I enjoy it too much to think about the miles any more. I just make sure to keep up with the scheduled maintenance and don't abuse her (bike) in any way. You're not the only one in this boat!

Dude ride the thing. I mean you bought a bike to ride right? Then do it! I love to have a nice new bike and keep them nice, but riding them is the best and is good for them. Sitting too much is bad. Just keep her nice and clean and go have fun. The more miles my bikes have the better I feel since I can look at that number and just think of all the fun miles I have rode.

My 2010 Ultra just came back from it 5k service. Bought it at the end of March and I have been riding the hell out of it. My 08 just went in for its 30k service and its just a little over 2 years old. Get on that bastard and ride.
