Bias reporting is why I hardly ever watch the news anymore. I'll scan the newspaper in the morning. Hell watching the news is so depressing now. I'd rather go out and ride than hear about the latest thing that is going to kill me, Or what Iran/Korea/Hezbelah etc is doing. When I was in college I didn't know what was going on in the world if ESPN didn't report it. I'm starting to revert back to my college days (just with a lower beer consumption rate

Well, I for one, as a woman and as a rider, say that letter was right on! Stupid unsubstantiated comments about bike riding, really burns my butt! Statistics don't lie. The number accidents caused by cagers (cager to cager, cager to bike, cager to pedestrian, cager to stationary object, etc.etc.etc.) far out weigh the bike caused accidents (of any kind).

Excellent letter...and I fully agree with her thoughts. We all need more advocates willing to write these types of letters attempting to bring some balance to the news stories.
