This really shouldn't surprise anyone. The Today Show is one the worst shows on television for broadcasting segments based on one of their staff's personal bias or someone's political agenda.
I quit watching the Today Show long ago because I wanted my news straight up, just the facts, without some left-wing liberal tint to it. Matt Lauer and Katie Couric (when she was on there) are the absolute worst (IMHO) for putting their own personal political spin to a story. And now I have a reason to never again watch the CBS Evening News.
