I am looking for a new seat for my 05 Electra Glide Classic. I do a few long trips a year, but most of my riding is around town or to/from work. I want a low profile look but still want long ride comfort. Thought about a Corbin, but then I came across C&C Seats.
Has anyone purchased a C&C Fastback and what is your experience?
Shawn from Dr. V-Twin did a big write-up about C&C a few weeks ago singing praises about them.
I'm here in SoCal and I'd heard about C&C for a while. I had a LePera Silhouette on my Sportster and a Danny Gray Big Seat on my Streetbob which were both good seats. Never went on long rides on the Sportster and really liked the Big Seat but went with C&C Fastback for my '07 Heritage. I'll include a picture.
C&C stands for Chuck and Chuy who run the place and they're a top notch company. Great seats. I've ridden about 200 miles in a day on mine and it was comfy. I had mine custom made to lower it and move it up about an inch. I didn't do any fancy stitching but I did have them do the top in the grained leather. I'd definitely recommend them. Great products and customer service. Ask for Chuck
Been running mine on my 07 since it was new...wouldn't part with it for anything. It has been a great seat and Chuck at C & C is an easy guy to deal with. If you have any special wants or needs, or problems with the way your present seat hits/sits you, talk it over with him and he will make your seat fit you.
I would gladly recommend them to anyone, and fully intend to purchase from them for my next bike.
my wife loved her fastback except for one problem. she has long legs and she needed something that would set her further back. otherwise, she would get leg cramps on long trips. she was running with the kit that moves your floorboards up 2 inches, the soos kit out 1 inch, and still getting cramps. grudgingly changed out her fast back for a corbin that moved her back further and now she doesn't get the cramps.
so not a slam on c&c. the quality was good, the price was great, but she needed to sit further back.
I am also looking for a low profile seat for my 2010 EGC but looking for a solo. Does anyone have a pic of a solo on an EGC and GS34DOC I would love to see that seat on your bike from the side if you have one. Does that see move you back any from stock. I need to go back a bit and thought a solo would do that, Thanks
