Was camped right across the street from the mobile stripper-pole trailer crew. As we broke camp on Sunday, those couches were stacked on top of one of the giant barrel trash cans. Snapped a picture of it on my cell--just had a weird, apocolyptic kind of thing to it...

this was my first smokeout and i'll never miss another. i ended up partying w/ Mr. Hankey's crew. i laughed all weekend. made a few life-long friends while there. ate a lot of sand in the burnout pit. drank freebies w/ Rebel Son till my ears bleed. got dragged by a rat rod. threw sand all over the place. and drank the best shine ever made.

smokeout is the party. i wish they'd swap around every other year: start east and head west. that way some of us could take a few weeks off and live the dream.
