me too,,,, just went from a honda vtx1300s to a harley ultra glide........i'll never own anything smaller than my 2010 ultra glide classic.......it rocks.......get lots of comments from peeps

@ Dust - How much did your amp and speakers cost? Did you use Marine grade speakers? Where did you locate the amp?

Congrats!! Go get a manual now.....don't wait, ride the new scoot to the dealer and pick one up. Between that and help here (more often then not) you can wrench her just fine.

Thanks all for the support...It's official..I'm a harley owner...I was able to ride around a bit this evening and loved every minute of it..Funny I had a thugged out dude come up to me will filling her up & tell me how awesome she looked...Always great to turn people on to bikes other than stretched out rice burners 8-)

She goes in tomorrow first thing for the 5k service...they mentioned since it almost had 24K miles to go ahead and have them check the cam shoes...sound right to you all..they said if they go, that it'll basically be a complete rebuild...that would suck...

I'll pick up a shop manual tomorrow...

Time to make room now in the garage...

Yep the tensioners should be checked. Do a web search for Biketronics they make a kit for Sony stereos that works great. I buy my stereos off e-bay though (cheaper) But the kit they make is what you will need. Sounds like you will have many miles of fun ahead of you.
