Danny D - google visited states maps. Then just fill them out and click save as. You can also get them in decals for your vehicle.

My goal is to have 49 of the states and All of the Canadian filled in by 2012. Next year we are doing the Pacific Coast highway from the Canadian border to the Mexican Border. I'm trying to figure out how to get N. Dakota in. I might just take off next week and run up there , cross the border and head back.

Very few states allow this type of activity. Most states would consider it reckless driving which means a heavier fine along with heavy points against your liscense.

But don't worry, with all the non motorcyclists out there making up the majority or the voting population, new laws will probly be in acted to ban this type of activity in the states that do allow it. Personally, it can't happen soon enough. It is a dangerous and recklass manuver to be rolling along inches next too traffic.
Is this guy for real, or a mental midget? "Dangerous and recklass"(sp) among other spelling examples. I've not won any spelling bees, but the first thing I think, when reading someone's post, is that if they can't spell the simpilest of things...they probably can't sort them out mentally, either. Learn to spell a$$hole, then you can further enlighten us about something you know nothing about, except in your 5th grade thought process. You live in a state with maybe two freeways, and probably are a "wanna be cop" so you can enforce your own, dimwitted opinion on others...as if it were the law. Go pound sand.

Sorry we got your Depends all up-in-a-wad. Wipe your chin, surrender your license, and the world will be a better and safer place.

You, after all, are more important than everyone else. Your pants are on backwards and your fly's open.

F'ing self-entitled hotheads like you are killing motorcyclists everywhere. Ignorant Cagers......the worst ones are the ones that ooze out of the swamps.....
You call me SELFISH????? Oh give me a break. Who is more selfish? The person that is rolling down the road or the person that thinks they should be entitled to the same section of road (between the zipper line and the fog line) because they can't wait with others?

How about this. You are rolling down the road on two wheels on the Fog line or close to it and someone comes up next to you in your lane? What is the difference?

Or how about someone in a truck comes up behind you. Traffic is slow and he cannot use the left lane to pass because there is a car there, so he pulls up right next to you in the lane that you are already in? Do any of you find a problem with that? He is just sharing the lane with you.

Or are you going to try and protect your space? If so then you guys are just as big of ******** as I am for protecting my space or any other person not on two wheels, protecting their space on the road.

Go ahead and split all you want, I could careless. If you get hurt or killed because of it then so be it. Less genetics screwing up the gene pool.

Oh and one thing you should know. And this is a fact. No car or other vehical has to move over to allow a motorcycle to share the same lane. If the motorcycle happens to rearend a car etc because of it then the rider of the motorcycle will be totally at fault, even if the rider gets killed because of it.

Oh and if someone comes up beside me planning to split and there is a family in a car or van on my right side. I am going to make a choice. Do I risk hitting that family to let you share my lane or do I protect my space. Sorry but a family in a car take presidence over some pin head that thinks traffic is too slow and they have to get through at all cost. Don't like it? Well then

you clearly don't understand what "lane splitting/sharing/filtering" is or how to do it correctly

done correctly, there is no need for cars/trucks to move anywhere - there is already a clear ribbon of asphalt not being used, which is why it is stupid to sit (stand) in traffic on two wheels... just use the roadway until traffic clears, then blend back into traffic

again - done correctly, the first and only time you'll see the biker is as they proceed up that clear section of asphalt having already passed you by.... sure its nice if cars happen to check their mirrors and move further out of the way but unless they are hugging one side of their lane rather than in the center there isn't a reason they'd need to move.

you are just a member of the "you be miserable because I'm miserable" club - why you would want to add vehicles to the congestion that can easily clear out of everyones way makes no sense

Wow. You are absolutely right. I bow to your experience, and regret your lack of skills.

How about this ?

How about that ?

Oh, yeah ? What about this ?

Thank you for admitting that you can't move over in your lane without risking the lives of all the families, crippled children, under-norished nuns, etc.

I'm so sorry I got your Depends-in-a-wad. It won't happen again, unless you ask us to compensate for your poor motoring skills again.

For the record, most lane-splitters compensate for motorists of your skill level. So don't worry about falling off your high-horse. You really should come and experience our traffic on a daily basis. Who knows, you might actually be able to sound as if you know what you're talking about, or not.

How soon before I change lanes do you want me to hand-signal to you before YOU decide whether thou shalt not cut me off ? Or not .....?

You're hilarious. Sadly, I'm afraid you're serious, though ( the worst a55holes are the ones unaware of their own hemorrhoids ).

Does anyone know if it is legal in Va or NC to ride on the shoulder, to go around traffic jams? I am leery of "splitting", but would hit the shoulder in a minute if it were dry. Just wondering.............
