A year and a half or so ago one of the Amazon Sellers was clearing out their supply and selling the RedLine 20W60 HD Motorcycle Oil for $96 a case (12 quarts) including shipping.... That comes out to right at $8.00 a quart shipped.
I purchased two cases, and then posted the sale information here on HDForums. Quite a few people must have jumped on the sale, as within a few days it was "Out Of Stock"....
The hell with what the book sez. I only use Great Value Canola oil from Walmart. If I am in a real pinch for oil, I will get the corn oil instead. Just don't use peanut oil.
i use 20w50, mainly because m climate doesnt call for the heavy weight, and HD is the only place to get 60w and i aint spending $34.99 a quart X3 every 1000miles on oil when i can go to wal-mart n get the castrol motorcycle oil for $4 a quart

That's a real good deal. I ran that oil for years and it's GREAT oil. The cheapest I could find it was $10 qt. I can't even find it around here anymore.
BTW I was running Amsoil 20/50 in the heat (100*+)and it had the consistency of water. I switched over to the Redline and the first thing I noticed was how much better the viscosity was when hot.
