Yo guys,
I'm going to look at a Bourget Lo Blow tomorrow.
I'm looking for any input you guys might have about these bikes.
It's an 02 with a 113 S+S, and Jim's 6 speed.
Beautiful bike with only 5K on the clock. I never would have given
a thought to actually owning this type of bike, but the price is so cheap,
I just can't resist. Has anyone heard any bad reports on Bourget's/
From what I have heard, they are high end stuff, and quality built.
It was one of those choppers shows that got me interested in one.
They showed his production shop, and all the high tech stuff he uses.
This is probably an old geezer's last chance at being young again. LOL
At the price, I could buy it, and have some fun, and maybe make a little coin too when I'm done with it. I'm just afraid of liking it too much, and wanting to keep it, making bike #11 in my barn, and it won't make me money!
Don't get the wrong idea, although most of them are Harley's, some are smaller bikes, such as a 72 Shortster, Aermacchi sprints, etc.
Peace
Rags
Your talking silly cheap? I would grab it. Bourget seems like one of the more quality oriented builders out there. It would have to be silly cheap though, since I wouldn't expect much of a warranty.
Thanks guys.
I'm not revealing the price just yet, hey someone here might want to buy it. HAHA
Lets just say a new sporty is probably more money.....
Ok, that brings the question, what do you think would be silly cheap but realistic?
How can I run the VIN to see if it's legit? Does carfax work for bikes?
He claims it's not a reconstructed title, or has ever been layed down.

Theyre all cheap now. Guy wanted to sell me his for 13k. I beat him down to 12k just to see if I could. Another friend has one for sale now for 18k. Don't know what your looking at pricewise but the one for 18k was 48k new. They have no resale.
A friend just sold a Bourget Fat Daddy and sold it for way under value because he wanted to have something to ride all the time. In my area custom bikes like Bourgets are going cheap because most banks won't give loans. Maintenance wise he compared it to any hot rod car always little things needed done. For a custom he sia it was a very good ride. If I was allowed to have a second bike I would have bought it.
Oh. And the one fir 13 k. I met him cause it broke down in front of my house. He pushed it up my drivesy and a roll back took it away. The price was 10 before he left. Lol.
If it is in your price range and by the sounds of things it is, I say get it. You may have to hang on to it since most folks aren't buying the more expensive customs these days. But with that I must say for me it wouldn't be the right bike. I like to go out for long rides and that bike atleast IMO would make a nice bar hopper.

I've always wanted a chopper type bike, and most of them look like
you couldn't make it far, at least with any degree of comfort.
If it fits me, I'm probably going to buy it, then I can get another one
of those dreams out of my system LOL
The link below is the 03 version
This guy rolled up on a Bourget while waiting in line for a pocker run at the 2010 River run.
He must have just got the bike. He looked like he was going to fall over trying to turn it around to park uphill, (said the kick stand didn't lock so he couldn't park it going downhill).
Notice the look on people's face thinking he was cutting in line, LoL.
