Default What kind of grease?
Putting a new starter clutch in a 95 heritage softail, Got the old one out and I see it has alot of grease on it, What kind of grease do I need to get for the new one? Thanks in advance for any help..

personally when something calls for grease i use marine heavy duty grease,

In my manual for a 90 fxrs, in regards to anything to do with the starter it recommends lubriplate 110, or other high temp grease.

Disc brake greese should exceed any temp specs.

I may be wrong on this, but I thought any lube for the brakes was anti-seize, on the bolts and such. Since copper conducts electricity not sure if I would use that, don't think dielectric grease would be ideal either.

Its the wheel bearing grease for a disc brake equiped wheel as aposed to drum brakes that dont transfer as much heat to the spindle as disc brakes.
