I got the same thing from a BMW rider buying Harley parts at the local HD dealership the other day. He tried to give me all sorts of customising advice about my Fat Boy. I just turned around and said ' What are you the local HD style guru'. The parts guy I was standing next to just fell over laughing while the BMW riders jaw just dropped. I just walked away got on my bike and rode off. I hate it when people try to impose their ideas on you.

He has not learned yet,he sounds young and overly enthusiastic.My hot rodded Harleys run great and never will I force my opinion on anyone.A lot of the hot rodding crowd do not have a clue how to tune their machines.They rely on the pro's to do it for them.It is a science and one has to know the basics of internal combustion engine functions down pat.
