Does anyone know if the Hog Tunes upgrade speakers are any better/louder than the stock ones? I am looking at replacing the speakers on my 2007 Street Glide...which is my favorite bike to date!!
Thanks Crypto...I went to my dealer, Jacox, last night and listened to their demo on the speakers. I like what I heard and for only $130 bux it is a helluva deal. I will install them when I replace my antenna with a ferring-mounted antenna and save the labour! I can't tell you how happyu I am with this 07 SG....the bigger engine, better-sounding exhaust and the 6 speed are very welcome additions!
Since you asked I'll still answer even though this question has been asked about 1000 times...
I have an 07 SG that I have the HT's installed in. Hogtunes will make a difference, but the biggest difference by far is..... put on a larger windshield like a 6 or 8".
Then the stock/hogtunes speakers will sound so much better. The wind plays a big part in corrupting the sound.
Just my observation.

Thanks Ip but the first thing I did before leaving the dealership with the new bike was to add a 9" new windshield. Sound is great but when there is wind or trucks and I am doing over 130kph the sound gets tough to hear...I also find that the bass distorts easily on these stock speakers.
