K i have an 05 Heritage Classic. Going down the highway the the bike starts to wobble. Kinda freaked me out a little. Its like riding down a concrete road with groves cut in it but worse. I have checked the tire pressure I put some grease in the head tube, it was full. The handle bars don't shake when I brake. It just wobbles at speed. Anyone had this or ideas on what to do?
First, check air pressure!!! Second, check front tire cupping, if it's cupped, even ever so slightly, lose that tire, it's no good! Harley's leak air for whatever reason, always check pressures!
Ok so an update. Pulled my bags off and checked rear spokes. One was broke. How often does this happen? or is it just a random thing? Talked to the shop they told me it is about the same for a new rear wheel vs. a spoke and nipple kit and re-lace job. Due to the labor cost. Anyway thanks for the help..

Been there, done that. Loose spokes are all too common on later model HD's. My indy buddy blames it on too things: .1) Cheap spokes. .2) The most powerful HD engines to date, which stretch the spokes.
Anyway, mine loosened at 31k and again at 62k. The second time, they loosened about 200 miles after I had just put it on a lift and checked them. We were on a trip and had to get trailered home....At that point, I put on a 1200C rear wheel and haven't looked back.
