o.k. so I had the wife pick up oil for me and she bought 3 mobil 1 20w-50 and 1 mobil 1 mx4t 10w-40. I put them all in the engine. What do I need to know or worry about?
You now know that you should verify each bottle is the correct stuff before you pour them in the bike. Sometimes they get mixed up on the store shelf.

Quote answer: What you need to know is you need to go get your own oil next time so you won't get different oils when your wife buys it.

O.K. Got that, now can someone actually give me the answer I was looking for? I think I ran through all that through the night. I need to know if I can ride or need to drain or what? If someone can help me with the oil compatibility answer, please do! I put the MX4T in last to top up (about 8/10 liter) and have not started the bike or moved it since. Am I o.k. to go, or drain now and pay the $14.00/liter to refill the engine again?

You are fine...Use it. Like was said before , don't make a habit of it but it actually mixes together...Right now i have 20w50 topped of with 15w50 and 2 different brands...all syn...
Hmmm, ok but what about synthetic and reg. I wanted to top off the oil on my bike and got into a conversation with a local shop guy. I told him as i bought the bike used just a few moths ago I didn[t know what the previous owner had put in there. He told me I could add some synthetic and not worry about it. I didn't do it but it sounded strange to me. I just waiting till the end of the season to do all the fluids at the same time.

Thanks everyone, feel better now. Maybe I will do the next engine oil change a bit earlier, not sure if the mix will cause breakdown sooner or not. One mistake I will not repeat and will double check before any oil goes in from now on!
Waiting to see if I notice any difference in the nloise and shifting, finding neutral, etc. Was all HD synthetic in the bike until now, but hoping it might quiet down some.
