Default NEW Streetbob

Yeah I followed some the advice given here - and went with my gut..
2010 Street Bob

Actually it's used - it had 37 miles on it...
This was won in a raffle & the guy had no use for it, so he traded it in for a 4 wheeler...

I'm wondering about the break-in & the two schools of thought on this there seems to be:
I found this link on here & bookmarked it a couple months ago - It seems to follow exactly what my Indy mechanic tells me. "Hard" break in - Ride it like you stole it, never let it sit at any constant RPM, etc...

http://mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm

Then there's the manual...

I'm at 120 miles and I haven't ridden it too hard, haven't let it sit at one RPM, but definitely haven't kept it under 65

Your thoughts? (or has this topic been beaten to death?)

Congrats! I didn't follow the book exactly breaking mine in, just didn't flog it and tried to keep it under 70mph for the first 500 miles...doesn't use enough oil to matter, so I think it's fine. Been 4k+ miles since the oil was changed, it might take 1/4 quart to put it on the full line.
