Iphone headphone problem
I sometimes listen to my headphones on my iphone while riding. Most of the time I do it when I'm on a trip and I also have the GPS app running in the background. Ever since I bought my iphone 4 the audio is unstable. It's only unstable when I have my headphones that have the inline mic. When I listen to my regular headphones everything is fine. Does anyone else have this problem? I going to try to use a different brand of headphones with an inline mic to narrow down the problem.

+1 - on it being the VOX with the the in-line mic. Either run a simple set of earbuds only, or go with one of the in-helmet comm systems like the Bluetooth Scala G4.

I have a great pair of noise isolating ear buds that work like ear plugs and let you hear the music a lot better. With the background noise blocked out I can actually hear what's going on around me in traffic a lot better. The iPhone ear buds are kinda crappy in a noisy environment.

I'm kinda thinking it may have something to do with that. In order to voice dial i have to hold the home button in for 2 seconds. I don't think there is a way to shut that feature off.
