Default whats the trick?

Whats the trick in getting the little clips off of the idle and throttle cables inside the switch housings? And then getting them back on without opening them to the point that they wont seal? Any one got any good advice for these?

Loosen off the slack adjusters under the handle bar. That will give you enough cable to rotate the ends out with a needle nose plier or similar tool. You do not have to open the brass ferrules at all.

Loosen the adjusters and remove the brass ferrules. You do not remove the clips. Simply pull the cable out of the housing. Piece of cake.

Just give them a good yank. They pop right out with no damage. Then, just push them hard to re-install them.

I find using a metal pic something like a dentist's tool really help for removal and instal. You hook it around the cable instead of using needle nose.
