I have the same problem, trouble is, only the *** is skinny.
I put a Reach seat on my 09 FLHTC, but I start wiggling after 30 minutes.
I even sold one bike because of the seat (Honda 750).
I need something that cushions the cheeks and keep the tailbone from getting bruised. Will gel do that?
I have an Airhawk pad and Momma uses a sheep skin gel pad on the back. The Airhawk doubles the amount of time I can stay in the saddle. Momma says her pad is big help too.
Wow!!!!!
What a bike?
which company's bike you use and Is this leather bag you use?
or something similar. Without criticizing my old skinny *** - does anybody have any experience with these? Do they really work? Kinda pricey I thought but this monkey butt is for the young guys not for me anymore.
I tried everything but in the end I started buying custom seats for my bikes in 2004. They aren't cheap, but they are comfortable and they are made to fit you and also it's not cheap buying the gel-pad, airhawk, sheepsking, etc. and finding out they don't work. I use diamondseats.com, but Russell day-long seats are supposed to be really good and there are others out there. I bought my first seat for an Ultra and rode it from DC to Florida (14 hours straight) with no break-in period.
You spent a lot of money on your bike, you might as well be comfortable and enjoy it!
